Dear friends and partners,

There’s something profoundly beautiful, empowering, and transformational about a safe, confidential space — especially within the faith community. It’s within this space people can be open, authentic, and honest about where they are. And it’s right there, in vulnerability, that Jesus meets us with compassion and grace. What an honor and privilege it is to be part of this sacred work within the Church.

Annual Summary

As part of our annual rhythm, we held a full-day board retreat to reflect on 2024 and thoughtfully plan for 2025. You can click the link below to read our 2024 Annual Summary and explore the goals we've set for the year ahead — each one prayerfully and strategically crafted to sustain and align with the heart and mission of True North 406 Ministries (TN406).

Living Waters

Our 10th session of Living Waters recently concluded with a powerful night of celebration, as participants shared testimonies of healing, freedom, and transformation. While this 20-week personal healing journey has come to an end, the pursuit of wholeness continues — it’s an ongoing part of everyday life. Transformation begins by embracing the truth that we are good gifts, created for wholeness, and made new through the saving work of the Cross. In the end, it is often through our wounds that we become more whole, as we live out the sequence of the Gospel and experience both healing and sanctification.

A written testimony from one of our Living Waters participants, A.C., "God has truly changed my life through Living Waters, and I want to help others as I continue my healing in Christ.”

Teaching and Training Leaders

Youth With a Mission (YWAM), Discipleship Training School (DTS) Equip

This 6-week secondary school is designed for any YWAM student interested in leading a Discipleship Training School (DTS) in the future. The group pictured here includes students from bases across the United States and around the world. During our time together, we taught, trained, and equipped these emerging leaders in the areas of redeeming sexuality and pursuing sexual wholeness.

True North 406 Ministries Board of Directors

We’re excited to introduce our newest board members, Anna and Ben Winters! They are already actively involved in the ministry, currently leading a condensed version of Living Waters in Missoula, and they wholeheartedly support the mission of TN406 Ministries. We invite you to read their biography to learn more about their story and passion.

Ben and Anna Winters live in Missoula with their three kids: Maddie (13), Jack (12) and Coen (7). They have spent the majority of their married life in Africa, working on public health, infrastructure and education programs targeting vulnerable communities. Missoula Alliance Church is their home, where they lead both Living Waters and the church's mission program in Zambia.

They share a deep passion for serving married couples, particularly in times of distress or burnout. They are passionate about watching God's power emerge from places of sexual and identity brokenness and are honored to support David and Elizabeth on their journey with TN406 Ministries.

Personal Development

The Gianforte Family Foundation has been a generous supporter of our work, not only through grants but also by strengthening our organization with leadership training specifically designed for executive directors, called Great Leaders. I was honored to be invited back for a second year and received even more relevant training, ranging from financial stewardship to legal best practices. I’m deeply grateful to Governor Gianforte and his wife for their wholehearted support of the mission and vision of True North 406 Ministries!

Closing out Spring:

We recently had the privilege of sharing the message at Jackson Bible Church in Jackson, Montana. David and I shared from Isaiah 61:1–3, Jesus’ mission, framing it within our own story and the calling we’ve received. As we looked into the compassionate eyes of ranchers in the congregation, it was clear they resonated deeply; some had tears in their eyes. This church has an incredible heart for the brokenhearted and affirms that this is fertile ground for cultivating a culture of healing — a place where people can be fully known and fully loved.

Friday, May 30th, we taught, trained, and equipped the YWAM Lakeside DTS staff. It was the perfect way to close out the first part of 2025 — investing in a passionate group of young leaders eager to integrate relational and sexual integrity, along with personal healing, into their daily lives and leadership as they guide others to do the same.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and generous financial support! Your partnership is a true blessing that sustains, strengthens, and mobilizes us in this mission. We are deeply grateful for your commitment, which makes a lasting difference, and changes lives every day.

Will you prayerfully consider joining our monthly support team, helping us continue this work with consistency and strength? Your ongoing partnership is the foundation of our sustainability and will allow us to reach even more lives with lasting impact.

Gratefully Yours,

Elizabeth Halliburton
