Dear Friends and Partners,

As we began another year of ministry, one of the foremost endeavors for me and the board of directors at True North 406 Ministries is the development of our second-year, three-year (rolling) strategic plan. This plan has been profoundly instrumental in guiding me and fostering meaningful growth.

Below, see our 2023 annual report—a chance for you to see how your prayers and financial support have truly made a difference in 2023! Additionally, you'll find an outline of our strategic goals for 2024 in the lower-left quadrant.

Title: 2023 Annual Summary with True North 406 Logo

Top left quadrant: Our North Star - The transformative power of healing and wholeness within the safety of the Church remains the “North Star” for our mission. This life-giving work is rooted in Jesus’ message of grace and truth. It guides us in fostering a culture of healing within the Church that honors His mission to bring good news to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, and proclaim freedom to captives. Heart ache is redeemed as we are known in our
brokenness and receive mercy and love. Together, we awaken hope for restoration in dignity and integrity, with Jesus. As we commit to personal and relational healing, we begin to authentically comfort others with the comfort we have received. As the Church walks in greater wholeness we empower the same in those around us, boldly loving as we have been loved.

Top right quadrant: Financials - Expenses Breakdown: Pie chart showing total expenses of $57,536. $38,000 for wages, $6,994 for operation expenses, $2,379 for fundraising, $4,483 for travel and education, and $5,680 for scholarships. Revenue breakdown: Pie chart showing $70,065 of total revenue. $6,694 from pastoral counseling & programs, $10,000 from grants, and $53,371 from monthly and annual donations.

See the impact your prayers and partnership are making already in 2024:

We've made significant progress through one-on-one engagements with pastors and church leaders, equipping them with resources and consultation through TN406. Currently, seven of our collaborative partners have progressed to stage two of relational engagement. At this stage, members have participated in the Living Waters program or counseling sessions, showcasing tangible impact. We are also offering consulting and leadership training for church communities who want to foster healing culture and care for trauma, relational, and sexual brokenness.

In March, we joyously concluded our 10th session of Living Waters in Kalispell with a heartwarming celebration, attended by family and friends. Nine out of the 24 participants generously shared their testimonies of transformation and personal growth. The essence of Living Waters lies in its focus on worship, the words and teachings of Jesus, and the manifestation of His works, affirming our identity and purpose over 20 weeks of intensive study. These elements collectively prepare the ground for the Lord's supernatural and grace-filled work in our lives.

We are thrilled to announce the establishment of a new Living Waters program in Missoula, marking a significant milestone despite facing substantial opposition. Their inaugural session is scheduled to commence in September, and we humbly ask for your prayers as we support the realization of this endeavor.

Meet Ben and Anne Winters,

Facilitators of Living Waters at Missoula Alliance Church (MAC). They bring with them a wealth of experience, having served in missions in Africa for many years. Ben, inspired by his own journey with Living Waters in Colorado, is eager to bring this transformative program to Missoula, their new home. Witnessing the "river of Living Waters" flowing from Kalispell to Missoula is a source of immense joy and anticipation.

"It is an incredible honor for Anna and I to bring Living Waters to the Missoula community. Having spent the better part of my early adult life destroying myself with sexual addictions and substance abuse, Living Waters marked an incredible inflexion point: a tangible pivot towards salvation, healing and stabilization of my identity. It was through the hard fought, raw stories of Andy Comiskey and his team that I found courage to walk the difficult but refreshing roads of restoration. And who wouldn't want to share this with their communities - that we have found a pathway to life, towards deeper communion with Christ? We are excited to see how far the Lord will take this in Missoula." - Ben Winters

On the administrative front, the TN 406 board of directors has been actively seeking a new Treasurer, as Tracie Scherer, our current treasurer, will be resigning from this role in May. We're delighted to introduce Marji Wasell as our new Treasurer—a retired engineer with expertise in project/budget management. We eagerly anticipate her unique contributions and wealth of experience as a new board officer. Keep an eye on our website in June at truenorth406.org to learn more about Marji.

Scholarship Fund Opportunity:

One of our most urgent funding needs is our scholarship fund, which plays a crucial role in enabling us to provide pastoral counseling to individuals in need. We aim to raise a total of $8,170.00. This includes $6,500.00 to fund this year’s scholarships and an additional $2,170.00 to build up the scholarship fund for the next three years. Your support in this area is deeply appreciated and directly contributes to the continuation of our vital services. Note, we have been able to contribute $12,500 in scholarships since 2021, when TN 406 began to offer pastoral counseling.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to support our mission and join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve in this new season of new growth!

Your generosity and partnership are truly invaluable! May the grace and strength of Jesus fill you, inspire you and bless you!

With heartfelt gratitude and love,

Elizabeth
